Full Job Description

 

? To maximise sales and strive to exceed the company?s targets in relation to finance and all associated products, including GAP, warranty, PPP, Easy Guard and any other products that are introduced to the sales environment.

? Prepare and process finance documents in a timely manner ensuring prompt payment To maintain rigid financial controls regarding monies due to ourselves
? From finance companies and other suppliers of our sales products.

? To operate all of the company?s standard operating procedures regarding sales process, correct completion of all documentation and archiving of the same.

? To ensure that all sales staff are constantly coached and trained in all aspects of finance related products and the systems we use to sell them.

? In the absence of the Sales Manager or Controller, assume their roles and responsibilities; refer to their job specifications for instruction.
? Pro-active involvement in promoting all F & I and related products approved by the company.

? Ensure that all sales staff give a professional and positive referral (at point of sale) to the BM and ensure that the Business Manager speaks to every Customer and in conjunction with the customer care document is offered all available products..
? That all point of sale material is current and has a high profile in the showroom.

? Plan activities and strategies in discussion with the sales manager and To ensure that all F+I reports are fully and correctly completed and sent out in a timely manner e.g.; Skynet and all approved Abraxas products are administered via the Abraxas website.

? To ensure that a Customer Care document is completed with every customer and is signed.

? Protect the company from any legal liability resulting from contravention of the Consumer Credit Act and operate in accordance with FSA prescribed best practice at all times

? To make sure that all finance proposal forms are sent to the correct finance company in accordance with company requirements including timescales.

? Ensure that every vehicle in stock or part exchanged is checked via Experian for any outstanding finance etc and that copies of HPI checks are retained in the deal file.

? Ensure that we have written confirmation from the relevant finance companies that any settlements are paid and that we have received funds. Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and do not release any vehicle until we have secured funds.
? Arrange cover for your duties if absent, i.e.; holidays or day off.

? Faxed all deals off on delivery and post a hard copy the same day.

? Investigate any and all back debits.

? Attend training courses as required. Keep abreast of F&I issues and developments

? Be involved in advertising to promote F & I products using all Media and including: radio, newspaper, on site, p.o.s. material, on vehicle displays etc.

? Liase with the regional F & I Controller on all target related issues.

? Strive to build good working relationships with all approved finance companies and underwriters, for the enhancement of acceptances and commission generated.

? Use strict controls to ensure that all C.P.U. deals are pursued quickly to a satisfactory conclusion.

? Ensure good housekeeping practices, making sure that correct systematic archiving of all documents is in place.

? Carry out any Sales Manager/Controller duties in the absence of either, or in an overflow situation.

? Second face customers who are just about to walk, when asked to do so by the Sales Manager or Controller.

? Make training a regular daily routine. Establish likely areas to benefit from refresher training and deliver some form of collective and/or individual training to meet the local and individual needs every day. Use one to one training and coaching techniques to ensure that all members of the sales team achieve the minimum target levels in all disciplines.
? Lead and motivate staff to achieve their full potential
? Ensure that the department is always staffed, by at the very least one manager, at all times of opening.
