Full Job Description
KEY TASK
To maximise profitability of new and used vehicles and finance and insurance products to customers ensuring the customer is given excellent service and advice and is totally satisfied with their purchase
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Time management
Computer skills to use dealer packages and essential inter company software
Influencing and negotiating
Selling and Customer care
Likely to have worked in a customer facing environment, preferably retail
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Must have attended the following Dixon training courses:-
Showroom
Easy Buying Experience
F&I Made Easy
Increase your sales by Telephone
Professional presentations
Motivation for results
Others as requested by Dixon or manufacturers
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Internal
Reports to the Sales Manager
Other key contacts will be the Sales Controller (in sites that have this post) the General Manager, and the Service department and Sales Administrator

ROUTINE TASKS
Customer Service ? exceed the minimum franchise requirements
Achieve sales targets through prospecting both new and past customers and consistently applying the Dixon Sales Process
Ensuring vehicles and showroom are presented to franchise standards
Appraising customer vehicles
Qualifying Customers
Maintaining accurate paperwork
Demonstrating vehicles
Applying knowledge of features and benefits that are appropriate for the customer
Performing necessary HPI checks
Keeping product knowledge up to date
Attending relevant Dixon and manufacturer training courses to increase personal effectiveness
Liasing with Service department to maintain knowledge of potential customers |
KPIS
CSI is met or exceeded
165 sales per annum
New car finance of ?160
Used finance of ?310
Used:New car ratio of 2:1, and at minimum 1:1
Used margins in line with Brand guidelines
Insurance of ?150 per new or used vehicle
