HR Manager
A member of the senior management team responsible for all HR areas of support. Works to ensure that through people, the provision of optimum standards of quality and performance for the business is achieved.

? Provide assistance and advice to managers relating to personnel issues and employee rights. As necessary, takes account of current legislation to provide assistance to staff relating to terms and conditions of employment and on personal matters in which they require assistance.
? Ensure all personnel policies and procedures are implemented by monitoring and advising managers. Recommend changes/new policies and procedures for implementation. Administer and develop personnel policies, systems and procedures to meet operational needs in line with legislative requirements.
? Develop and implement policies to meet company objectives and ensure compliance with legislation. This will encompass all aspects of equal opportunity including gender, ethnic origin and disability.
? Manage the recruitment process for all staff through use of appropriate methods and liaison with recruitment services.
? Ensure all new staff inductions are carried out by managers, applying best practice methods and using appropriate and up to date tools and materials.
? Ensure all aspects of personnel administration is carried out from issuing of offer letters/contracts to maintenance of up to date personnel files (ensuring payroll have copies of all relevant correspondence/documents).
? Ensure the correct application of terms and conditions including hours of work, overtime arrangements, pension matters, healthcare etc.
? Ensure the correct use of the disciplinary/grievance procedure as a last resort, having explored other means of resolving issues.
? Liaise with external legal bodies if necessary.
? Assisting directors to project manage special projects and perform other tasks/projects as and when required.
? Produce monthly group HR reports for the board to include:
- Sickness/Absence
- Disciplinary
- Staff Turnover
- Special projects
- Updates
? Co-ordinate the appraisal process for all groups of staff, ensuring correct documentation is available and that appraisers / appraised receive guidance in the process as necessary.
? Liaise with appropriate outsourcing to provide the right skills and development for staff through the identification of individual needs from the appraisal process.
? To manage the range of services, including pay reviews, job evaluations, appraisal, performance management, promotion and transfer of staff.
? Ensure effective staff communication within the group via Brand Managers/Brand Directors and conduct monthly HR update meetings.
? Compile the personnel budget and monitor expenditure throughout the year.
