Duties and Responsibilities

Control and monitor sales executive activities in order that they achieve personal new and used car sales targets through selling to existing and new customers

Control and monitor a company sales process from greeting the customer through qualifying, appraisal, closing the sale to indicative delivery date

Control and monitor sales executives prospecting system ensuring that all information is being entered, updated and used effectively

Control the new and used car displays ensuring an adequate provision of suitably prepared and presented vehicles at all times

In consultation with the sales manager source suitable used vehicles and negotiate prices

Liaise with the in house drivers and contract cleaners on the preparation of all vehicles for sale

Liaise with the service department on the preparation of used vehicles for sale

In consultation with the manager prepare used vehicle advertising

To take an active role in the arrangement of Public Relations and promotional activity

To handle complaints effectively resolving them to the satisfaction of the customer and the company

To deputise for the Sales Manager in his/ her absence

To help train, and motivate staff to meet their full potential

Attend training courses as required

Carry out other duties as required from time to time

HEALTH AND SAFETY

To ensure the safe working environment for all employees by complying with the statutory legislation and Government Health and Safety Policy

To report immediately any non conformance to the appropriate senior position
